So, as you can see, I haven't posted anything on here in quite some time...about 7 months to be exact. Nevertheless, my not so brief hiatus/temporary abandonment of all things blog has come to an end.
Now, on to the crux of it all!
I decided to finally do something about the rest of the baby weight that has so generously distributed itself & set up camp across my body.
That being said, I am currently trialing a weightloss/fitness program for myself. My goal is to lose 20-25 pounds, tighten up & improve my strength, stamina & overall health. And...I plan on doing all of the aforementioned in 60 days.
I had my Sudi 14 months ago & am well beyond the point of being able to blame the baby for my unsexy figure. I decided to veg out instead of exercise & eat cupcakes for breakfast. Even though I unequivocally. Know. Better.
Now, back to the 60 day thing. It really should have a name other than the "60 day thing", so..."60 day thing", I dub thee "60 Days to Sexy". Yep... That works.
And you, blog reader are probably wondering "What is it?" & "Why?"
Well, I decided to do a liquid fast/detox diet (The oh so controversial "Master Cleanse") and transition back to a regular, healthy diet, through several different healthy lifestyle type diets (Vegan, Vegetarian & Low Fat/Carb). Each done in two week intervals accompanied by moderate exercise over the course of...you guessed it! 60 days.
The catalyst for this body makeover of sorts was the fact that Raheem booked a 5-day island vacation for April...of this year. And I refuse to be that girl who doesn't totally enjoy herself on vacation due to being overly self conscious about body issues that are 100% fixable. I'd much rather be the sexy mama tanning on the beach in my bikini, having not a care in the world. Wouldn't you?
Over the course of the next couple of months I will be blogging my routines, experiences, recipes, tips & moreover, my results. So, keep checking back for updates!
